LG Soundbar Won’t Turn On
If your LG Soundbar doesn’t turn On, there are some workarounds to resolve this issue.
Improper or Insufficient Power Supply
If your LG Soundbar doesn’t receive an adequate amount of power supply, it won’t turn on. Here’s how to solve the Soundbar issues related to power.
Power Cords
See if the power cord is defective because if the power cord connecting the Soundbar is damaged, it will cause an interruption to the current flow, and the Soundbar will not receive the required amount of power.
Breaker Box
If the breaker box is tripped, it will restrict the power flow. Inspect the breaker box to see if any of the breaker switches are out of line with the others. You have to reset it by switching the button to the Off position and then to the On position.
Power Outlet
Your power receptacle might not be working. You can check it by plugging other devices into the power outlet.
Extension Box
Since many devices are connected to the power strip, it will get overloaded. So, it will not distribute enough power to the LG Soundbar. Also, some of the ports might be damaged due to frequent plugging. So, it is better to use the receptacle.
No Audio from LG Soundbar
Even if your Soundbar has a proper power supply, sometimes it might cause issues like a lack of Sound from the Soundbar. To determine this issue, check out these ways.
- Ensure that the output of your TV matches the input selected. That is, if the TV output is HDMI 1, you have to select the input as HDMI 1.
- Check the level of sound on your Soundbar. If the volume is low, the sound will not be audible. You can either increase the volume on the Soundbar directly or use the remote so that the volume is loud enough.
- Check if the Soundbar’s connection to the TV is proper. If not, connect it appropriately.
- If you have connected a Bluetooth device to play music, see if the volume is turned up on both the LG Soundbar and the Bluetooth device you have connected.
- If you have connected your LG Soundbar to the TV with an HDMI ARC cable, check whether you have changed the sound settings on the TV to HDMI ARC. If not, you will face the LG Soundbar not working with the HDMI ARC issue. To fix it, go to All Settings > Sound > Sound Out > Choose HDMI ARC.
