1. On your Mac or PC, Insert a formatted or new USB 2.0 drive into your PC.
2. Ensure that the USB drive is not more than 16 GB in storage, and once again, format the USB drive to FAT16 or FAT32.
3. Now, download the respective firmware ZIP file for your Nakamichi Soundbar and unzip the downloaded file.
4. Copy the files and transfer them to the USB drive. The file names will be different for each soundbar model. Do not rename the file at any point.

5. Eject or remove the USB drive from the PC and remove all the HDMI and other cables connected to your soundbar.
6. Locate the USB drive port at the back of the soundbar and insert the USB drive into it.
7. After that, press the USB button on the soundbar remote once, and the soundbar display will read USB.
8. Following that, long press the ENTER button on the remote and let go of the button when you see UPG– on the soundbar display.
9. It might take up to 10 minutes to update the system, and once it is done, the soundbar will automatically restart on its own.
Reset Nakamichi Soundbar
Updating the soundbar is not done yet. You have to reset the Nakamichi Soundbar once to complete the firmware update.
