Connecting a Klipsch Subwoofer to another soundbar is not much of a work since it hardly takes a minute to get it done. But pairing a soundbar to the subwoofer is essential to bring out the best in both devices.
Based on the model of the Klipsch Subwoofer, the pairing method might change slightly, and I have mentioned them all in this article for your easy understanding and reference. Normally, a soundbar and subwoofer connect automatically when the devices are initially turned on and set up.
However, if that did not happen or if you wish to pair the Klipsch subwoofer back to the soundbar after disconnecting it once, you can do that by following the instructions below.
How to Pair Klipsch Subwoofer to Soundbar Wirelessly
As I said, the Klipsch Subwoofer will automatically pair with your soundbar once both devices power on. However, if it doesn’t, you can follow the below methods to manually pair the device wirelessly.
Method 1
The Klipsch subwoofer that comes with the soundbar models Bar 48, R-4B, R-4B II, Bar 40, and Cinema 600 are more or less the same. Even with other compatible soundbars, you can follow the same steps.
1. Connect both your subwoofer and your soundbar to the power.
2. Now, locate the PAIR button on the back side of your subwoofer and press the button for about 3 seconds.
3. As soon as the status light on the subwoofer starts flashing, press the PAIR button on your soundbar for another 3 seconds.
Note: The Pair button on both the soundbar and the subwoofer will be present on the back panel of the devices.
4. Now that both the devices have entered the Pairing Mode, they will automatically detect and connect with each other.
5. Upon successful pairing, the flashing status light on the subwoofer will turn solid blue.
Method 2
Follow the below-mentioned procedure to pair the Klipsch Subwoofer with the RSB-6 and RSB-11 Soundbar.
1. The Pair button on the back of the subwoofer can only be accessed using a sharp paper clip or something similar to it.
2. Upon pressing the Pair button, the status light will start blinking.
3. Now, move to your soundbar and press the Source button and Mute button for 10 seconds simultaneously.
4. Once the subwoofer connects with the soundbar, the status light on the subwoofer will stop flashing and turn into solid blue.
Connect Klipsch Subwoofer to Soundbar Using Cable
If you were not able to connect your Klipsch subwoofer to your soundbar wirelessly, then you can pair them together using a cable. Moreover, you can also use the RCA cables to pair an additional Klipsch subwoofer to your soundbar.
1. Find the Input port on your subwoofer and insert one end of the RCA cables into it.
2. Now, pair the other end of the cable to the Sub Output port on your soundbar and turn on both the subwoofer and the soundbar.
3. Now, connect the Klipsch Subwoofer and Soundbar to the TV if needed, and play any song of your choice.
4. If the connection was successful, the audio should be heard through the soundbar as well as the subwoofer.
Note: If there were problems connecting the subwoofer to the soundbar using cables, check the cable for any damage and replace it if necessary.
Benefits of Connecting Klipsch Subwoofer to Soundbar
If you wish to create a theatre-like experience at home, then setting up subwoofers with the soundbar is most important. There are several advantages to adding your Klipsch subwoofer to a soundbar, including the increased audio quality and overall performance of the media.
