The boAt Aavante Bar Aaupera Home Theatre and Smart Soundbar come with an in-built Alexa support, which can be enabled using the boAt Aavante Smart app. On the other hand, there are ways to connect an external Alexa device to your boAt Soundbar.

How to Enable Alexa on boAt Soundbar
At present, the boAt Aavante Bar Aaupera Home Theatre and Smart Soundbar is the only boAT device with in-built Alexa support. The soundbar comes with a separate Alexa button, which can be used to turn on or wake up Alexa once you have enabled the feature on the soundbar. To do that, you first have to set up the boAt Aavante Smart app. To do that,
1. Connect your smartphone to your WiFi and download the boAt Aavante Smart app from the respective app store.
2. Once the boAt app is downloaded, launch, and you will be presented with a set of instructions.
3. Turn on your boAt Soundbar. So that the device is available when the app scans for nearby devices. Do as promoted by the app and press the Next button.
4. On the following page, press the Indicator is Blinking button when you see the LED indicators on your soundbar start blinking.
5. Next, click on the Setup this Device option when the app detects your soundbar.
6. Connect the soundbar to the internet on the next page and press OK.
7. Once the device is added to the app and the internet is connected, move on and assign a name for the device.
8. After that, you will be directed to the Welcome to Alexa page. Under that, click on the Get Started button.
9. Sign in to your Amazon account using your account credentials. Once logged in, choose a language you wish to use Alexa with, preferably English, from the options given.
10. Press Next on the Alexa is Ready page to complete the setup.
After enabling the feature, you can wake up Alexa using the voice command or through the Alexa button.
How to Connect boAt Soundbar to Alexa Using AUX Cable
As for other boAt Soundbars without built-in Alexa support, you can connect an external Alexa device, such as an Echo Dot, using an AUX cable. Before you connect the devices together, add the Echo Dot device to the Alexa app.
1. Connect the Echo Dot to power and download the Alexa app on your smartphone.
2. Launch the Alexa app and sign in to your Amazon account.
3. From the home page, tap on the Devices option and click on the + icon.
4. Choose Add Device, and under that, select Amazon Echo.
5. Choose your Echo Dot and follow the prompts to complete the setup.
6. After completing the basic connection, go to the Devices section and click on your Alexa device.
7. From the options given, select the AUX Audio option and click on Line In or Line Out.
8. Now, take a 3.5 mm AUX cable and connect your Echo Dot device to the boAt Soundbar using the cable through their respective AUX port.

What Can You Do with Alexa Connected to Your boAt Soundbar?
Once you have enabled or connected Alexa to your boAt Soundbar, you can continue to control various aspects of the soundbar and the internet using the Alexa voice commands. Simply wake up Alexa by pressing the Alexa button on the soundbar or say ‘Alexa’ out loud and follow it with your voice command. Here are a few examples you can try.
