How to Connect JBL Soundbar to Phone using AUX Cable
However, if you face issues with wireless connectivity, you can also buy an AUX cable (wired connection) to connect the JBL soundbar to your phone.
1. Fetch an AUX cable of good quality and ensure it’s not damaged physically.
2. Insert one end of the 3.5mm AUX cable into the AUX IN port of your JBL soundbar.
3. Then, plug in the other end of the AUX cable to the 3.5mm Audio jack on your smartphone.
Note: As Apple removed the headphone jack back in 2016, you can’t use this method on iPhone 7 or later models. Instead, you can buy a Lightning to 3.5mm headphone jack adapter to make it work.
After connecting the devices, you can listen to your favorite song or other audio from your JBL soundbar.
