Connecting any of the LG soundbars to a TV brings you the best theatrical experience in your living room. Despite being one of the best soundbars, technical issues like audio errors and system glitches do occur from time to time. You can resolve these errors by updating the LG soundbar firmware if an update is available or through a reset. Before you reset your LG Soundbar, be aware of the fact that doing so will erase all the customized settings and revert back to its initial settings.
Based on your LG Soundbar model, the method of resetting might differ. The instructions to reset all the different models when the LG Soundbar is not working properly are mentioned in this article. I have also included the steps to perform a soft reset for your convenience.
How to Soft Reset LG Soundbar
There are a few circumstances when you need to reset your soundbar. One of the main signs to reset your soundbar is when you have pairing issues. Before you go with the hard reset, perform a soft reset first.
1. Turn off your LG Soundbar and disconnect it from its power source.
2. Remove all cables connected to the soundbar and press the Volume Down button present on the soundbar.
3. After a minute, connect the LG Soundbar back to power and pair it with the other devices.
Since the LG Soundbar has been soft reset, the previously paired connections will be lost. You have to connect them back from the beginning this time around.
